Surveying & Design
At SureFoot Equestrian, we offer site visits and consultations to assess your situation and give advice on what would work best for you before any work is undertaken.
Using drone footage, we create high quality, highly accurate site surveying including 3D digital modelling and Geotechnical expertise.

Riding Surface Construction
If you want a completely new surface, an existing surface lifted and relaying, a top up, or eco fibre stabilisers added then SureFoot Equestrian are committed to finding the solution for you.
We offer a range of surfaces to suit you best, from sand and rubber, to fibre, to waxed fibre, we have whatever it is you need.
Breathe new life into your existing surface by either having routine maintenance carried out or a complete overhaul and refurbishment.

Refurbishment
Symptoms of a surface needing refurbishment:
• Standing water on the surface & no longer drains well.
• Surface dusty in the summer and wet in the winter.
• Surface rides deep or too firm.
• Surface has broken down or migrated across the school.
• Membrane showing in places or stones working to the top of the surface.
• Rotten, twisted or broken timber.We offer complete arena repair, refurbishment and surface upgrades. We repair and upgrade drainage systems. Drainage beds can be refurbished, levelled and topped up. Geotextile Membranes replaced and upgraded. Fencing, retaining boards replaced and repaired. Surfaces topped up and upgraded.

Maintenance
Keep your arena in top condition by carrying out periodic maintenance.
Ensure your surface performs as it should year after year.
We offer simple annual packages where we visit at set intervals to carry out maintenance.
• Arenas graded and rolled with a selection of different graders tailored to each surface type.
• Surfaces topped up if necessary.
• Fencing treated & minor repairs carrying out to fencing, gates adjusted.
• Weeds and vegetation removed or treated. Specialist advice and treatment of invasive species.

Refurbishment Case Study
Annabelle - Cheshire
The arena was originally built over 30 years ago. It was a sand only surface and had provided many years of good service. In the last few years the surface began to hold water at it’s lower end.
Investigative works showed that the drains had become fouled by tree roots, had collapsed and were completely blocked.
The solution was to remove the sand surface to expose the drainage bed and install a new land drain and lay a new Surefoot Fibre surface over the whole arena.
The Arena is now free draining throughout and rides perfectly.
